I- ¿Cansado de las disputas esteriles que terminan en "aguante x, porque y es una mierda"? En el ultimo post de fernando (a la vez, respuesta de otro) en su blog ha sucedido un intercambio de comentarios interesantes en torno al vacio de referencias crossover en la música popular surgidos durante esta decada.

II- Desde acá, siguendo y externalizando la discusión, yo no puedo hacer otra cosa mas que también poner todas las fichas sobre el gran Patrick Wolf, mas allá de las multiples fragmentaciones de nichos músicales que hayan surgido a una velocidad inusitada durante los ultimos diez años... con una letra como la de Hard Times tendria que ser un referente silencioso de toda una generación.

III- ¿Escucharon The Bachelor? No el tema, que apesta, sino el ultimo disco de el ¿No es maravilloso? Ya escribire mas sobre PW, una vez que haya algun e-dios que me ayude con la conexión y con el boton de encendido de la computadora. Ahora se me esta acabando el tiempo en el ciber. Show me some resolution and this battle will be won.

‘I want to be a popstar…!’

They say that and in fact they don’t, and it’s just a buzzword they’ve lerned or been told to use, and they’re actually embarrassed by the idea of being a popstar in the true sense of being a popstar. And so when someone comes along who actually does want to record a song that, say, Rihanna might record, that’s why people are a bit confused as to how to take it.

Exactly. But that’s me! And I think it’s also important, to me at least, that even with a song like ‘Remedy’ which is a big pop moment I’m still in that song – it’s got me in it, and the lyrics are dark and weird. I’m not going to apologise for making a pop song seeing as making pop songs is what I said I wanted to do right at the start. It’s funny, I mean people say that ‘Stuck On Repeat’ is a Number One record, but I’ve never thought that it was.

Y si, Victoria , sin querer o no, por lo menos yo, no he podido sacarme ese maravilloso tema que es SOR de la cabeza. Tanto que en mi chart mental, subjetivo y totalmente inexacto (lastfm, chupá) aparece como el mas escuchado en todo este año, facil. El disco es muy bueno, no sobra ningun tema y hay airplay por todos lados. Pero ningun tema como este. Imposible no quererte.
